Lisa Rowland ‘05

About Lisa:
Lisa Rowland is celebrating 10 years as a lecturer teaching improvisation in the Theatre and Performance Studies Department here at Stanford, and a communication coach with the Knight-Hennessy Scholars. As a performer, she can be seen regularly on stage at BATS Improv in San Francisco and at international festivals around the world. As a trainer, she leads workshops on creative collaboration, communication, and storytelling to professional teams from a variety of industries.

Talk Title: Connection on Purpose
The art of improvisation has a great deal to offer us in the way of making purposeful, enthusiastic connection with others. Join Lisa Rowland to explore the ways that connection and bonding can be turbocharged using techniques of presence, attention, and playfulness. This is an interactive, fun and low-pressure session. No experience or extroversion necessary.
