Naizet Ibal Quezada

Hometown: Caruthers, California!
Major: Anthropology w/ minor chicano/latine studies
Three! Things! I! Love! I love biking around campus, going on runs with my friends, and soaking up the sun while listening to music!
I could talk all day about ¡Mexican/Chicano culture and history! Mediation and the importance of mind, body, and spiritual health. Overconsumption/fast fashion, immigration, and racial disparities in climate change. Assimilation or fusion of cultures, fairy tales, favorite weird food combos, and 90s movies!
I'd love to connect with folks who Computer Systems, Networks, Architecture, Security and SLaw specifically with immigration! Sustainability, history, and anthropology, nonprofit work!

Hi everyone! My name is Naizet but feel free to call me Nai! I grew up in the Central Valley and was always surrounded by agriculture and people from various backgrounds! This has led to an interest in how culture impacts and shapes people, how traditions get passed down, and history! I enjoy volunteering with nonprofits fighting to help victims of domestic violence, I'm always open to speaking with others about their history and experiences, or those interested in ways to help! On campus, you can find me with the Hermanas community or studying in the famous Green Library. Community is THE most important thing to me and I can't wait to grow and meet everyone! Let's have a great summer!! :)
