Anna McNulty
Hometown: New York, NY
Major: International Relations (w/ Creative Writing and Digital Humanities minors)
Three things I love to do: hammock anywhere trees allow, trail run in the Foothills, & have dance parties at any hour of the day with my roommate.
I could talk all day about... organic farming, documentaries, crazy backpacking adventures, folk music, U.S. women's soccer, coffee, books, my slow...extremely slow...process of learning to surf, the best bagel shop in New York City
I would love to connect with folks who work in fields related to or share an interest in... journalism, law, international relations, creative writing, film, photography, sustainability, design, social work...or anything else!!
More about Anna: Anna is not so good at balancing objects on her head...don't let the photo deceive you! She is, however, working on it and hopes by the end of summer to walk around camp, water bottle on head. Anna cannot think of a better way to spend her summer than with a wonderful Stanford community on Fallen Leaf Lake, where you can find her on trails, with the trees, or in the lake, embracing her role as the camp Naturalist. Anna grew up in New York City, where she played soccer (yes there are soccer fields there), ate countless bagels and pizza, and went to many museums, at first begrudgingly with her mother and later in life as much as she possibly could. She took a year off before college to backpack, work on farms, and work for community and political advocacy groups. After her first year of remote college, Anna is thrilled to finally be on campus, where she works as a peer counselor at the Bridge Peer Counseling Center, photographs and writes for Mint Magazine, and outfits students and handles backcountry gear at the Outdoor Center. Anna loves meeting new people, so please feel free to come talk to her whenever!!!
