Raisha Abubo
Hometown: Norwalk, CT
Major: Leaning towards Environmental Systems Engineering, but still undecided.
Three things I love to do: sleep under the tree on Arguello Field, jam out with friends wherever we see an instrument, look for constellations on Wilbur Field
I could talk all day about... music, the stars, hiking spots, adventures, nature, fashion/thrifting, the Philippines, building a high speed rail system throughout the U.S.
I would love to connect with folks who work in fields related to or share an interest in... sustainability, environmental research, engineering, ecology, geoscience, archaeology, or anything else (especially if it involves the earth/environment)!
More about Raisha: From the Philippines to Connecticut, and now from Connecticut to California, Raisha is very excited to discover what the west coast has to offer! She is going into her sophomore year at Stanford, hoping to connect her love for nature and hands-on work to her studies. When she isn’t studying, you can find her outside climbing a tree, staring at the stars, or looking for adventures and exploring nature. On days when being outside isn’t an option, Raisha can definitely be found strumming a guitar or playing the piano. She is very excited to be even more immersed in nature here at Camp, and is very excited to meet everyone and go on many adventures. Seriously, don’t be shy, Adventures aren’t meant to be done alone!
