Callia Peterson

Hometown: Lawrence, KS and Columbus, OH (fun fact: I went to the same high school as both Nich Mullins and Saf Seck)

Major: Economics

Three things I love to do at Stanford outside of class: take in the view on the roof of McMurtry, dance in the studios at Roble Gym, go on a meditative walk through main quad

I could talk all day about: mindfulness, dance, journalism, the midwest, moving mid-high school, being the middle child, studying abroad in Paris, community-building, finding belonging, living authentically

I would love to connect with guests who work in fields related to: Consulting, Venture Capital, Sustainability, Media, Public Service

Biosketch: A perpetual resident of college towns, Callia is a sophomore from Columbus, OH (Go Bucks!) and Lawrence, KS (Rock Chalk!), although she spent the first four years of her life in State College, PA (We are...Penn State!). Callia is a dancer, yoga instructor, pilates enthusiast, journalist, coffee connoisseur, stationery fanatic, and loyal friend. While she has cheered on many universities over the years, her love for Stanford tops them all. At Stanford, Callia is an Associate Consultant for Stanford Consulting, a member of Cardinal Ballet Company, a Team Lead for Stanford's Reunion Homecoming, a contributing writer and designer for The Stanford Daily, and a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Having moved mid-high school, Callia is deeply passionate about community building and fostering belonging and inclusion whenever and however she can. She is excited to help the class of 2028 transition to Stanford this coming fall as a Resident Assistant in Lantana.
