Bella Sullivan
Hometown: Anchorage, Alaska
Major: Undergrad-- Earth Systems: Oceans and Climate track; Masters in Environmental Communication
Three things I love to do: Procrastinate at the beach, go on walks in the woods, beading
I could talk all day about... mysteries of the oceans, her magical home Alaska, indigenous advocacy in climate issues, the meaning of dreams, basically anything (I love to chat!)
I would love to connect with folks who work in fields related to or share an interest in... Environmental justice, climate change communication and education, marine conservation, environmental research
More about Bella: Bella is back and more excited than ever for her fourth summer at camp as a Menehunes counselor. Growing up in Alaska, a love and care for the environment has always been central to her life which has continued through her studies at Stanford. Bella just finished her senior year majoring in Earth Systems and is almost done with her coterm in Environmental Communication. She is especially passionate about indigenous sovereignty and advocacy in environmental issues. Unsurprisingly, Bella loves all things outdoors and loves traveling to learn more about the world-- she is about to go on her third quarter abroad this fall, this time Stanford's Hawaii Program.
Bella is so stoked to once again be a part of the magical community that is Sierra Camp. She is so excited to see old friends and make new ones so if you see her come say hi!
