Kaitlyn Choe

Hometown: Lawrenceville, GA

Major: Human Biology (+ Creative Writing Minor)

Three things I love to do: Singing karaoke with my friends until 2 AM, reading books of all kinds on Roble Field, and trying not to fall asleep on the Margeurite to Town & Country..

I could talk all day about... stories, reclaiming language, noodles as the superior form of food, body as memory, BTS (unfortunately?), and growing up in the South in a four-generation Korean household!

I would love to connect with folks who work in fields related to or share an interest in... Creative Writing, Publishing, Education, Consulting, Healthcare, Psychology, Film and TV, and Nonprofits (especially related to literacy and food access)!

More about Kaitlyn: Kaitlyn (she/they) is back on campus as a junior after a busy gap year (see: interning for a community farm! marketing for a telemedicine start-up! teaching kiddos about atoms! finally getting a driver's license!). She calls Lawrenceville, Georgia home, though if you ask her in person, she'll probably say Atlanta for simplicity's sake. At Stanford, if she isn't practicing her Korean via dramas on Netflix, you can find Kaitlyn typing out novels and essay collections on her laptop, drinking perhaps too much iced coffee, or FaceTiming her younger siblings on afternoon walks. If you still can't find her on campus, that's because she's probably already mentally at Fallen Leaf Lake, where she's so excited to return as a second-time Munchkins Counselor! Kaitlyn cannot wait to meet you, so if you catch her reading at the gazebos, playing with sweet kiddos at the Patch, or painting at the boat dock, please please say hi!!
