Stella Delp
Hometown: Stanford, CA
Major: Human Biology - Neurobiology Supporting Cognitive and Behavioral Health
Three things I love to do: people ops at The Farmlink Project, pretending to do work at coho, early morning ocean dips with friends
I could talk all day about... Dogs, veganism, circus camp, skiing, yoga, mental health, food systems (food waste and food insecurity), humans' connection to nature, our biology's impact on behavior
I would love to connect with folks who work in fields related to or share an interest in... Neuroscience, health care, sustainability, folks working in people operations
More about Stella: Stella didn't go far for college, so her affinity for coho coffee started young. As a kid, she felt a strong connection to nature and animals, specifically dogs. This guided her interests in human biology and sustainability. After students were sent home from school in spring 2020 Stella helped found the Farmlink Project, a non-profit connecting the billions of pounds of surplus produce on farms to communities in need. From calling farms and placing food, her role in the project evolved into people operations - building out the team and engage folks from all backgrounds to accomplish our mission. We have so much to learn from the people, animals, and plants around us - about empathy, compassion, and peace. Outside of Farmlink and school, Stella works at YogaSource Palo Alto, goes on trail runs with her dog, and explore the world with friends.
