More about Valeria: Valeria, born in central Mexico, is from sunny Miami, Florida! She loves learning about nature in science, given she has been blessed enough to live near some of the most amazing natural places (like the Everglades and the Popocatepetl volcano in Mexico). She also loves to create and analyze art (though most visual, she loves to learn and talk about all mediums!) Though she can be a bit loud while doing it, she loves to tell stories, especially ones that stem from radical imagination. Her love of storytelling also translates into a love of movies and folktales, and even seeps into her passion for design. She loves to work with children, given they have the most radical imagination of all, and strive to intersect design, art, and education in her life. Her dream is to live inside a fairytale mushroom cottage, but while she figures out how to either shrink herself or make a mushroom house-sized, she is elated to be at camp doing her favorite thing: meeting new, interesting people with new, interesting stories!
