Henry Lai
Hometown: Mountain View, CA
Major: Earth Systems
Three things I love to do: Rollerblade around campus, play spikeball with friends on Roble Field, spend quality time with the people I love!
I could talk all day about... food! eating, cooking, sourcing, growing, everything! Also, hiking and backpacking, climbing outdoors, books, games, anime and manga, and environmentalism!!
I would love to connect with folks who work in fields related to or share an interest in... sustainable development, green policy, transitioning economies, environmental regulation, international organizations
More about Henry: Henry Lai is a sophomore from the Bay Area. After taking a gap year, he's having a great time being back on campus. Outside of classes, you can find him working at the Outdoor Center renting gear for trips, climbing at the rock wall, or heading up to Half Moon Bay for a surf sesh. When he's not outside, he'll have his nose buried in a book, or watching some random food documentary and drooling the whole time. Here at Sierra Camp he's excited to be outside playing a team sport, learn how to water ski, and play awesome family games like celebrity. If any of those things sound fun to you, feel free to ask him about them! He also loves to hear about people's stories, so don't be shy when he approaches you seemingly out of nowhere. Henry is stoked to be with you all and is looking forward to creating an amazing experience for everyone this summer!
