Alison Cabanday

Hometown: Los Angeles

Major: Economics Undergrad, MS&E Coterm

Three things I love to do at Stanford outside of class: Basking in the sunshine, jumping on trampolines, and enjoying a good hummus mixed with hot sauce (preferably sriracha)!

I could talk all day about: Music, economic development (especially education), skiing, fashion (especially sustainable fashion), behavioral economics, how Chile looks just like Los Angeles, art, and design!

I would love to connect with guests who work in fields related to: Product Management (especially for Tech and Entertainment products), Venture Capital, Economic Policy, Private Equity!

Biosketch: Alison hails from Los Angeles where she picked up her passion for music (especially playing drums) and fashion design. But, even as a former child actor she still found time to explore and fall in love with nature from annual family vacations to Tahoe! She is so excited to come back after a couple year hiatus and explore the most magical places from her childhood! Through living in a co-op, Alison has fostered her love for connecting with people through creating together, whether it's cooking a meal together, painting furniture, putting earrings on trees, or anything else. At Stanford she studies Economics with focuses on development and behavioral econ and is coterming in Management Science and Engineering. Outside of her studies, she is in 3 bands on campus, designs clothes, and spends as much time frolicking with friends as possible.
