Luke is a freshman from Pacific Palisades, LA where he was born and raised. Attending Palisades Charter High School, Luke played varsity tennis all four years and was senior captain where they won 4 CIF city championships. Aside from tennis, he is extremely passionate about using technology to solve meaningful problems in finance. On campus, Luke started Stanford’s first-ever quantitative finance organization which he runs full-time. Having always had a passion for science and technology, Luke entered the world of finance in his sophomore year of high school when he started a subscription-based newsletter on Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs), generating a massive audience of over 10k subscribers from 20+ countries. Through his newsletter, Luke connected with a professor at MIT Sloan which led to a series of projects around SPACs. Luke also started a financial literacy non-profit called Trifecta Finance which equips underserved middle & high schools throughout California with technology-focused, student-led financial literacy programs. Securing a sponsorship with Bank of America, Luke, and his team grew the organization to over 1000+ students from 10+ family centers throughout CA.
