Biosketch: You may remember Barr from when you entrusted your most prized possessions, your 3-4 year olds, to his care care for a week back in 2022. This summer he humbly ask that you entrust him with your second most prized possession, your ACLs, on ski dock!! He spent his interlude summer traversing the Juneau Icefield conducting glaciology research and ski mountaineering! While on the ice, he had the chance to conduct glaciology research of all different kinds and then went to study abroad in Australia where he somehow got units for researching the great barrier reef!? While his dream is to be an astronaut, he is trying to come up with backup plans that involve outdoor jobs, using science as a way of bringing people together, and sustainability. When he's not skiing on the lake, you can find him talking about why he thinks space and the environment are the coolest, skiing on snow, or sharing his love of nature and the outdoors with friends! He couldn't be more stoked to be at fallen leaf this summer!
